The Moore & Wright 1966 Series Traditional External Micrometers are precision measuring instruments designed for accurate external measurement of components, workpieces and machined parts. Manufactured for engineering workshops, inspection departments, toolrooms and quality control environments, these micrometers provide dependable and repeatable measurement performance across a range of metric and imperial sizes.
Featuring tungsten carbide measuring faces for enhanced wear resistance and long service life, the 1966 Series combines traditional micrometer design with robust construction. The blue textured frame finish provides durability and grip, whilst the speeder type ratchet ensures consistent measuring force for improved repeatability.
Available in both standard and fine-resolution models, the range includes metric sizes from 25-150mm and imperial sizes from 1-6 inches. Each micrometer is supplied with a locking lever, adjusting key and protective case, with metric models also supplied with the appropriate setting standard.
