The Moore & Wright MWT-2500 Ultrasonic Thickness Gauge is a high-performance non-destructive testing instrument designed to accurately measure material thickness using ultrasonic technology. Suitable for steel, aluminium, iron, glass, plastics and many other materials, it provides fast, reliable measurements without damaging the workpiece.
Featuring three measuring modes (P-E, I-E and Test), the MWT-2500 offers exceptional versatility across a wide range of inspection applications. The I-E mode allows measurements through coatings up to 500µm thick, making it ideal for painted or coated components. The built-in precious metal testing function further expands the instrument's capabilities.
The bright 2.0" backlit LCD display provides excellent visibility, while onboard memory stores up to 500 time-stamped measurements for later review. Fully configurable measurement parameters, selectable metric or imperial units and adjustable resolution ensure the gauge can be tailored to a wide variety of industrial inspection tasks.
